SIP has officially ended for me.
My last week was very eventful. The interns and I had to organise a x'mas lunch and performance for our colleagues. We were only told less than 24hrs before the actual day. Omg, totally made a fool out of ourselves during the 'fashion show'! We made our x'mas costumes out of recycled materials and made sucha mess in the room! It was all fun, something we all needed since we've been facing our computers 80% of the time. All that sabo-ing ended and we were each awarded a pretty card, signed by most of my colleagues and a present by our director of trg.
Then on Thurs, it was lunch at Hard Rock Cafe with others and on Fri, lunch was at Shaw Centre. So in other words, my lunch for Wed, Thurs and Fri were treated by colleagues. I felt that was really kind and thoughtful of them to do that. More on my fb if ya'll are interested! Kinda lazy to upload it here.
I'm both happy and sad that all's over. Had a major phototaking session ytd with most of my colleagues. Am gonna miss everything!! Oh well, its part and parcel of life I guess. The interns and I will prob pay them a visit in time to come.(:
So its back to school for me on Monday to come up with presentation slides tgt with my team. Actual presentation would be next Thursday where we would be presenting our slides to the exec director and others. I hope the nervous bug doesn't attack me and that all would flow smoothly as planned. I can't believe SIP has actually ended. I think its gonna be quite hard to get back into the studying mode. The thought of lectures and tutorials are dreadful but I'm motivated cos I get to see all my friends again! Yay to that. And my Oct pay's in so double yay to that. Time to shopppp :D
December is approaching meaning twin's coming home soooooon (:

Hello dear readers, its been awhile since I've blogged a proper entry.
I think this is gonna be a brief one yet again, at least I keep this space updated here and there..
Well, we're in the month of November already! How fast is that! Orchard Rd is filled with X'mas deco already but I still don't feel the X'mas spirit. Not yet I guess. Honestly, I feel quite tired of work already. Too tired till I dread it at times. But I must say, the weeks have been passing by like a whiff!!!!
Soon, I have to prepare for my presentation + report. Then back to school, at last. I kinda miss school actually. I miss the bus rides, friends, cheap food etc..down side would be studying all over again. I heard midsem tests are after X'mas meaning, having to study during the X'mas period. TSK
Okay enough of this. Now for some photos. The Usuals celebrated Amanda's bday last Fri at Astons @ Suntec where we had a good affordable meal and over to Barossa @ Esplanade for some drinks. Amanda had her first taste of a flaming lambo [FOC!] and other shots. We had sucha good time and the staff there were too nice!
 
 
Okay I wanted to post more on my meetup with classmates last night but IM SO DEAD BEAT I TELL YOU! Goodness, its not even midnight and I'm dosing infront of this screen. More to come when I feel like blogging! |

On my way home today, I saw this vehicle with "bloody shit hub ambulance" printed on it. And it had so much scribblings on it, like grafitti or something. And at least 4 policemen were surrounding the vehicle. The 'ambulance' looked messy inside, lots of bags full of no idea what! I should've taken a picture and post it here.
Oh well! haven't been updating here for ages. Kinda lazy to do so actually. To cut everything short, work's been alright. Its been almost 2 months of internship. Time really flies, my workload is piling, especially this week. I was told I have to cover the work of a temp staff who will be leaving this Thurs meaning..I'll be busier. Hopefully there'll be something to be learnt from that and not just blindly doing data entry, brainless work stuffs.
Would have posted up some photos but the lazy bug's in me and I'm so tired. What's new. I should go for a jog tmr after work or something to perk myself up! Okie dokes, this entry ends here. A better entry soon my dear readers, I promise! (: |

Work has been tiring physically and mentally.
Other than the paper, admin work, at least I had the chance to attend some major events such as the CSR seminar at Orchard Hotel, update on foreign manpower policie at RockAudi and the upcoming event: Workplace Health Promotion. So much was learnt through experiences and all..check out my CSR pass. Haha. Okay moving on..
 
 
Oh I met up with usual loves too, forgot when but ya we finally met up after eons!! Gosh. But all was good. Whee. Meet up sooon and takemore picsss! Some visuals to keep this entry interesting..Heh
 
 
Alrighty, enough of photos.
Anyway, I have a deep papercut now. Blame the 50 sets I had to photocopy. And the cut is at the area where my skin moves alot. Hurts ): The more 'painful' thing is that I haven't received my salary at all. Most have been paid except us interns at [shall not name the co but ya]. We're like complaining everyday. Am gonna ask my superv tmr if I have the chance to catch him, forever busy..
Hmm, so what else..oooh. Will be meeting the retards tmr after work. Gah meaning spending more $$$. I'm gonna bring my own lunch. My mum plans to cut my allowance now that I'm 'earning'..RAH. I need some savings plan or something. My intentions of saving $$ for future isn't working at all if you realised. Argh.
I've been told that I've to make calls to 3,000 companies tmr onwards. Why does Spore have so many companies?! Tskkk. Okay, shan't complain. DO THE JOB WELL, STAY POSITIVE blahblahblah. Its way past my bedtime. Body + brains need rest = SLEEP
